Age Assurance
SirensVoid is an adults-only service. We use age assurance to help prevent children from accessing adult content while keeping the age-gate screen simple and privacy focused.
Live age check
Where available, SirensVoid uses a live camera age-estimation check before unlocking adult areas. Gallery uploads are not accepted for this check.
Conservative pass threshold
The check is configured to pass only when the system confidently indicates adult status. If the result is uncertain, access is not unlocked through the live scan.
Fallback verification
If the live check cannot run, cannot find a face, or cannot confidently confirm adult status, users may be asked to use a verification provider such as Didit.
Privacy by design
The live frame is used only for the age check and is deleted after processing. SirensVoid keeps audit records of the outcome, method, country signal, and timestamp, not the selfie frame.
UK approach
UK rules require adult services to use highly effective age assurance. Facial age estimation is one method that can be capable of meeting that standard when it is technically accurate, robust, reliable, and fair. SirensVoid therefore combines live capture, conservative pass rules, fallback verification, adult-content blocking before access, and audit records.
Age assurance systems are reviewed as law, regulatory guidance, and available technology develop.
